There was a strange silence during that initial Intimate Encounter in New York’s Adirondack Mountains in the early 1990’s. Within the confines of this hidden alcove of seemingly hallowed ground, there was an epiphany, that all of nature’s beauty does not lie in the broad, majestic landscapes of a symphony, but also resides in the gentle, subtle sounds of the chamber music heard here. Since then, there have been many more of these encounters, each with its own essence, but always experienced in the simple solitude of silent communion.
